Stephen Strasburg Rehab Start Attendance Way Over Pfitzer Stadium Capacity

Pfitzer Stadium, the home of the Potomac Nationals', Washington's Single-A affiliate, holds a capacity of 6,000 people. There was talk that the team would allow more fans into the stadium on Friday to watch Stephen Strasburg make his second rehab start after Tommy John surgery. As it turned out, they did let in more fans. A lot more.

Via our own Andrew Kinback, who is live at the stadium:

That's a lot of people, and it backs up the photo posted below. Sadly, while the team has been accomodating to fans, it appears it has been not as accommodating when it comes to letting Strasburg speak to the media.

Game over. Potomac wins 1-0. Still waiting for Strasburg, who was done pitching 1 hour, 45 minutes ago.less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply
