VIDEO: Bryce Harper Hits Walkoff Home Run, Celebrates With Teammates

Bryce Harper obviously wasn't cool with Stephen Strasburg hogging the "Nationals phenoms doing amazing things" spotlight on Friday night. How else do you explain him responding to Strasburg's lights-out outing in Potomac with his first ever professional walk-off home run? It's almost like Harper is telling Strasburg, "Anything you can do, I can do better."

Harper's walk-off homer gave Harrisburg a 3-2 win over Trenton on Friday night. It's Harper's third home run in 32 games in Double-A, and it was an absolute bomb to deep center field. Afterwards, he rounded the bases and jumped into his teammates' arms for a rather typical home run celebration. No kissing, no yelling, etc.

That's both good and bad. Good, because Harper really should tone down his celebrations. Bad, because it's less fun that way. Oh well. A less fun Harper that mashes the ball to center field is a Harper I can deal with just fine.
