Phillies Vs. Nationals: Nationals Park Filled As Washington Looks For Another Win

After a thrilling win on Friday night, the Nationals will look to take down the mighty Phillies again when the two teams play in front of a packed house at Nationals Park on Saturday.

One night after Ryan Zimmerman capped a stunning ninth-inning rally with a walk-off grand slam, the Washington Nationals will be back at it again, taking on the Philadelphia Phillies at Nationals Park. The place is expected to be full for the first time all season, according to Amanda Comak of the Washington Times, though it appears it is full of Phillies fans making the trip down I-95.

John Lannan will be on the mound for the Nationals looking to give the team a series win. Roy Oswalt, who has pitched fairly well despite a poor 5-7 won/loss record, will oppose him for the Phillies.

Michael Morse returns to the Nationals lineup after missing the game on Friday with elbow pain, and Laynce Nix will hit fifth. Here is the Nationals' lineup.

  1. Ian Desmond (SS)
  2. Rick Ankiel (CF)
  3. Ryan Zimmerman (3B)
  4. Michael Morse (1B)
  5. Laynce Nix (LF)
  6. Jayson Werth (RF)
  7. Danny Espinosa (2B)
  8. Wilson Ramos (C)
  9. John Lannan (P)
