Anthony Rendon Joins Bryce Harper In Arizona Fall League

Another big name has been added to the group of young Washington Nationals prospects that will be working on their game in the 2011 Arizona Fall League this Fall. That name is third baseman Anthony Rendon.

Anthony Rendon will also go to the Fall League. #natsless than a minute ago via UberSocial for BlackBerry Favorite Retweet Reply

Rendon was selected sixth overall in the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft by the Nats and was considered one of the best, if not the best, bat in the Draft. A born slugger, the Rice University Owls infielder hit .394, 26 home runs, 85 runs batted in starting in every one of the Owls' 63 games in 2010.

Both him and other Nationals offensive phenom Bryce Harper will be joining the Scottsdale Scorpions. Those two will be a powerful, dangerous, but highly entertaining duo to watch work in a baseball line-up.
