Nationals Vs. Cubs: Chien-Ming Wang Looks To Throw Smoke Against Cubs

Wang will have plenty of help behind him as he tries for his first win of the season. Ryan Zimmerman, Michael Morse, Jayson Werth and Rick Ankiel have all been raking and should make Chicago's Matt Garza job a whole lot harder.

It is a tale of the same old line-up, different day. A day after the first game of a four game series between the Washington Nationals and the Chicago Cubs got rained out in the Windy City, the Nationals will be using the same pitcher and line-up to do battle on Tuesday night they were going to use Monday.

Washington's Chien-Ming Wang (0-2, 6.00 ERA) will finally get his third start of the season (and in Nationals uniform) in Tuesday night against Chicago's Matt Garza (5-8, 3.78 ERA). Wang will have two scorching hot hitters behind him in third baseman Ryan Zimmerman and first baseman Michael Morse. Zimmerman has hit safely in 16 straight games and is hitting .433 in that time. Morse has been pounded the ball at a .378 clip since the All-Star Break. Right fielder Jayson Werth also seems to be finding his stroke and if he continues to the Nationals line-up will be that much more dangerous, especially in the ancient, windy confines of Wrigley Field.

Monday's postponed game will be made up on Thursday during a scheduled off day for both teams.
