John Lannan has never had double-digit wins in a season, but that can all change with a good outing on Saturday. The Washington Nationals will square off against the Houston Astros on Saturday night, and Lannan will be going for his 10th win of the season.

Lannan was a nine-game winner in 2008 and 2009, his first two years of his career, but was abysmal last season and was even demoted to the minors. He's bounced back with a solid season in 2011, posting a 9-11 record and a 3.48 ERA. Considering where he was last season, the Nationals will take that.

The Astros will send Wandy Rodriguez to the mound to oppose Lannan. Rodriguez nearly was released in August, but ended up returning to the team. Here is the Nationals' lineup, featuring Ian Desmond in and Steve Lombardozzi out.

  1. Ian Desmond (SS)
  2. Jayson Werth (CF)
  3. Ryan Zimmerman (3B)
  4. Michael Morse (LF)
  5. Jonny Gomes (RF)
  6. Danny Espinosa (2B)
  7. Chris Marrero (1B)
  8. Jesus Flores (C)
  9. John Lannan (P)
