The Washington Nationals will not be bringing back starting pitcher Livan Hernandez, as he's signed a minor league deal with the Houston Astros according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

Hernandez spent the last three seasons with the Washington Nationals. Over the 2010 and 2011 MLB season, Hernandez started 62 games for the Nationals with a record of 18-25. The 36-year old veteran was originally acquired by the Nationals in the 2009 season. He's spent the past 16 seasons in the major leagues, playing for a total of nine different ball clubs.
