The Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals are set to do battle in Game 4 of the National League Division Series at Nationals Park.

Ross Detwiler will be toeing the rubber for the home team in a game of mammoth proportions.

The 26-year-old has been terrific this year, posting a 10-8 record with a 3.40 ERA. Detwiler, a St. Louis native, last pitched on Sept. 30 against the Cardinals and didn't fare very well. The youngster was knocked around for seven runs -- three earned -- on five walks and four hits in just 2⅓ innings.

Opposing Detwiler will be Kyle Lohse, who helped pitch St. Louis to victory in the crazy Wild Card showdown against the Atlanta Braves. Lohse has been nothing short of spectacular in 2012, compiling a 16-3 record with a 2.83 ERA.

However, the Nationals hit him hard in both September meetings. Lohse received two no-decisions and was lucky to do so, throwing a combined 11⅔ innings and allowing nine runs.
