As the Washington Nationals run through the machinations of Grapefruit League Spring Training, one of the biggest questions for the team is what to do with uber prospect Bryce Harper. Whether he shines in Viera or not, does the team want him to start him up with the big club when the regular season begins, or do they want him in the minors for more seasoning. Well, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com, the team might have already made a decision on Harper:
despite daveys desires, strong speculation is bryce harper will begin season in minors, w/ mid-year callup hoped for. #nats

This is of course just what one writer is hearing. I fully expect to hear others report on Harper's future, whether big leagues or minors, quite a bit in the coming weeks. Don't be surprised if something changes and Nationals fans get to see Bryce Harper in a Washington uniform on Opening Day.
We'll have much more on Spring Training here at SB Nation DC in the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out SB Nation's Nationals blog, Federal Baseball, for more news and notes. And don't forget to visit Baseball Nation, the MLB hub of SB Nation for information from around the league.
