The Nationals look to snap a two game losing streak against the New York Mets on Tuesday. Can they get some offense to help Ross Detwiler in his season debut?

The Nationals have lost the last two games by one run each. One was a rally that fell short and one was a walk-off loss after losing a three-run lead. The Nationals hope that they can snap this two game losing streak as Ross Detwiler takes the mound for the first time this season as he faces the undefeated New York Mets.

Detwiler went 4-5 with a 3.00 ERA in 15 games with 10 starts for the Nationals last season. Against the Mets last year, Detwiler went 0-1 and had an ERA of 8.31 in two starts. The lineup for the Nationals has one change where second base will be played by Steve Lombardozzi. Usual second baseman Danny Espinosa had a collision with a Mets player on Monday and will be held out of this game.

First pitch of this game will be at 7:10 p.m. from Citi Field in New York. The game will be televised on MASN 2 with radio coverage provided by 1500 WFED AM and 1580 WHFS AM.
