Steve Lombardozzi is starting for the Nationals at second base tonight in place of Danny Espinosa, who was hit in the head by Ruben Tejada's elbow when the latter was running out a bunt in the ninth inning of Monday's 4-3 Washington loss. Espinosa told reporters Tuesday afternoon that his absence shouldn't be a long-term thing.
Danny Espinosa received concussion testing last night after all, he said, and he doesn't have one. He thought he'd play. "I'm 100 percent."

In other news from Citi Field ahead of tonight's game, Mets All-Star third baseman David Wright has been scratched from New York's line-up after jamming the little finger of his right hand.
David Wright OUT of tonight's lineup w a jammed finger in his right hand. X-rays negative. Terry hopes he'll play tomorow

Apparently the jammed finger was affecting Wright's ability to swing in Monday night's game.
