Nationals Vs. Cubs: Washington Starts New Season In Chicago

A new season begins for the Washington National. Can they start it off right against the Chicago Cubs?

A new baseball season begins for the Washington Nationals on Thursday as they travel to Wrigley Field in Chicago to play the Cubs. This is the beginning of a season that has what many people are calling the best Nationals team since the team arrived to D.C. in 2005.

Manager Davey Johnson has already announced his opening day lineup via the team's twitter page.

Strasburg will be making his first Opening Day start for the Nationals as they will go against the Cubs' Ryan Dempster. Dempster went 10-14 with a 4.80 ERA in 34 starts for the Cubs last season. Dempster struck out 191 batters and pitched 82 walks last season as well.

The game is set for a start of 2:20 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on MASN and on WDCW-50, and the radio broadcast will be on 106.7 The Fan, WHFS 1580, and WFED
