VIDEO: Bryce Harper Discusses First Major League Home Run

As we write this, the Washington Nationals are losing to the San Diego Padres in the bottom of the fourth inning. Which means that we have to put this video up before all of the good feeling from Monday night's 8-5 come-from-behind win over San Diego completely dissipates.

The biggest story from the game (apart from the unfortunate injury to Sandy Leon), was Bryce Harper's first major league home run, which came in the bottom of the third inning and gave the Nats a 4-1 lead. You can see video of the home run here.

After the game, as could be expected, the media crowded around Harper's locker to have a word. CSN Washington was good enough to give us three minutes of video from that scrum, which you can see below.

We love the idea of the veterans pushing Harper out to get a curtain call. Shows how much he's become a part of the team.

And as we type this, Harper's just hit his second home run. We'll just go ahead and credit this post for that.
