Orioles Vs. Nationals: Lefty Ross Detwiler Looks To Stop Red-Hot Baltimore

The Washington Nationals (23-16) play host to the Baltimore Orioles (26-14) again on Saturday, looking to stop the suddenly resurgent Baltimore franchise. The AL East-leading Orioles 2-1 win over the Nationals in extra innings on Friday night was Baltimore's fourth win in a row, and eight straight win on the road. The Baltimore bullpen threw four scoreless innings in the win, dropping their collective ERA to 2.07, best in the bigs.

Lefty Ross Detwiler (3-2, 2.75 ERA) will take the mound for Washington on Saturday at Nats Park. Detwiler is coming off his worst start of the season, as he surrendered four earned runs and seven hits in five innings to the San Diego Padres on Monday. In his career, Detwiler is 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA against the Orioles.
