Third baseman Ryan Zimmerman has been scratched from the Washington Nationals lineup hours before the start of the second game of their three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Chad Tracy will take Zimmerman's place, batting third and playing third base.

Zimmerman has not missed a game since coming off the disabled list May 8. He is currently sporting an on-base percentage of .344 and a slugging percentage of .354, having hit just two home runs and eight extra-base hits.
