The Washington Nationals face the Boston Red Sox on Sunday at Fenway Park, and with lefty Jon Lester on the hill the Nats gave rookie sensation Bryce Harper his first day off since his call-up. Well, it appears the hyper-competitive 19-year-old is not exactly pscyhed about the day of rest. Via Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post:
Harper clearly ticked not to be playing. He wanted to face Lester. Coaches, trainers concerned about back. He says he's fine.

And here's Mark Zuckerman of CSNwashington.com with more of the same regarding Harper:
Harper says he feels fine, doesn't know why he's not in lineup, was looking forward to facing Lester. Suffice it to say, he's not happy.

Honestly, how can you not love this kid?
