Nationals Vs. Orioles: Tarps Are Down In Anticipation Of Heavy Rain

The tarps being placed over the field at Camden Yards and their will be a rain delay between the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles. There is no rain as of yet, but the threat of rain is looming in the Baltimore-area. The original first pitch was scheduled at 7:05 p.m., but there is a severe thunderstorm warning until 7:15 p.m.

The storm is currently Northwest of Baltimore, and the heaviest portion of the storm is expect to travel Southeast and cross right through Baltimore.

The rain is most likely to hit the stadium starting around 8:30 p.m. as Weather.com projects a 50 percent chance of rain at that time, and the threat of rain is expected to stay between 50 and 100 percent until 9:45 p.m.
