Nationals-Orioles Score Update: Washington Leads 3-0 After Six Innings

After six innings of play, Edwin Jackson is making it look easy. The right-hander has fanned five batters, walked just one and allowed just one hit and no runs, as the Washington Nations hold a 3-0 lead over the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday night.

Leading 2-0 after three innings, the Nats added another run in the top of the fourth inning after Adam LaRoche homered to deep right center field. Leading 3-0, Washington has yet to relinquish that lead.

The Natonals dropped the interleague series opener on Friday night by a score of 2-1. Jackson, who has tossed just 80 pitches, is expected to remain in the game in through at least the seventh.
