Nationals Vs. Rockies Score Update: Washington Jumps Out 6-0 Early

The Washington Nationals poured on the runs in their matchup with the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday and continued to do so on Wednesday evening. In the first inning, Ryan Zimmerman knocked in a run to give the Nats an early 1-0 lead. Tyler Moore, starting place of Adam LaRoche, filled his shoes nicely with a two-run home run in the second inning to push the lead to 3-0.

The Nationals picked up another pair of home runs in the third inning, one from Zimmerman and one from Ian Desmond to push the Nats lead to 6-0 over the Rockies. Edwar Cabrera gave up five hits in 2.1 innings of work and was quickly relieved.
