Nationals Vs. Mets Lineup: Jhonatan Solano Starts At Catcher As Washington Looks For Sweep

The Washington Nationals are looking for a sweep in their series against the New York Mets on Thursday afternoon. The one major change in the lineup for the Nationals is Jhonatan Solano starting at catcher on Thursday. Manager Davey Johnson has left the 1-7 spots in the lineup the same for the afternoon game with pitcher Chien-Ming Wang starting for Washington.

Solano has only played in two games this season, May 29 and 30 against the Miami Marlins. He has gone 1-for-4 at the plate in his brief stint in the Major League.

The game is set for a 1:05 p.m. first pitch with a national television broadcast on MLB Network with local coverage on MASN. Radio coverage will be provided by 106.7 The Fan FM, 1500 WFED AM and 1580 WFHS AM.
