Nationals Are The Second Favorite Baseball Team Of Barack Obama

Barack Obama has never been one to hide his loyalty to Chicago sports teams. He was recently booed in Boston after thanking the Red Sox fans for Kevin Youkilis being traded to the White Sox. He has attended Wizards games to root for the Bulls.

Sports in Washington D.C. have been pretty rough since Obama took office with the Redskins and Wizards both struggling, but the Nationals have found success so far in 2012. So much so, that Obama has certainly taken notice. In an interview with KSNV in Nevada he spoke about a new second favorite team of his.

"One of the biggest stars right now in Washington is Bryce Harper, who comes out of Nevada. And I know folks are really proud of him. He's doing great. And it's my second favorite team now, after the Chicago White Sox."
