With their N.L. East lead shrinking, the Washington Nationals look to get back on track Tuesday, as they begin a three-game home stretch against the New York Mets, who trail the Nats by six games in the standings. The Braves have inched closer, as well, and trail by 2.5 games. Since the All-Star break, the Nats have gone 2-2, splitting a four-game series with the Miami Marlins.
First pitch on Tuesday between the Mets and Washington is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EST and will be televised by MASN.
