Braves Vs. Nationals Final: Atlanta Shuts Out Washington In Game One, 4-0

The Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves played the first of their two games on Saturday and the visitors from Atlanta shout out the Nats by a final of 4-0.

Washington's bats were nowhere to be found on Saturday afternoon as they registered just six hits on the afternoon while going 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position while leaving six men on base. Nats outfielder, Roger Bernadina is the only Washington player that had more than one hit in the ballgame as he connected on two.

Pitcher Edwin Jackson had a strong showing on the mound for Washington, but it was all for naught as he couldn't get any run support. Jackson pitched seven strong innings giving up five hits and just one earned run while striking out nine Atlanta batters.
