Nationals Vs. Brewers Score Update: Washington Down 6-0 After Five Innings

The Washington Nationals trail the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0 after five innings of play Friday night at Miller Park.

A two-run home run from Corey Hart in the bottom of the fourth inning gave the Brewers their two-run advantage. And they didn't stop there. In the fifth, they added four more runs -- two RBI-singles by way of Carlos Gomez and Ryan Braun and a two-run from Aramis Ramirez.

Starter Ross Detwiler, who was on the mound for the Nats, was pulled during the fifth, leaving him on track for the loss after giving up four runs on 83 pitches through four and two-third innings. He was replaced by reliever Craig Stammen, who gave up the homer to Ramirez.

Meanwhile, Washington has struggled at the plate with just one hit -- a fourth-inning single from Adam LaRoche.
