The Washington Nationals start a four-game series with the Houston Astros on Monday night. Houston is the first stop in a 10-game road trip that will also include stops in Arizona and San Francisco.
Edwin Jackson gets the call for Washington. The right-hander is 1-2 in his last three starts, but has pitched fairly effectively, allowing just four runs in that span. In his last game, Jackson allowed three solo home runs to the Phillies for his seventh loss of the year.
Houston rolls out rookie left-hander Dallas Keuchel. He will be looking to avoid a fifth consecutive loss in Monday's game. In his previous four starts, the lefty allowed 22 earned runs, 16 walks and six home runs.
Washington currently leads Atlanta by three games in the National League East. While the National take on the worst team in the majors, the Braves start a series against the Phillies.
The game is scheduled to start at 8:05 p.m. Eastern, and will be broadcast on MASN 2.
