Trent Williams Re-Injures Leg In Victory Over Packers

On the last play of regulation in the Redskins' 16-13 win over the Packers, Trent Williams went down once again with an injury to his left leg.

Williams' leg got caught underneath him when attempting to make a tackle on Green Bay cornerback Tramon Williams after he intercepted Donovan McNabb's Hail Mary attempt. He would return to the game for the first series of overtime, but was noticeably slower in pass protection, and he was replaced by Stephon Heyer in the final series of the game.

After the game, Williams told Grant Paulsen of 106.7 The Fan "My knee's still kind of weak from the last time I injured it and it just kind of gave out on me."

According to Rich Campbell of The Free-Lance Star, Williams passed an initial ACL test. Williams will have an MRI tomorrow to determine the severity of the injury.
