Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett has one overarching philosophy: bend, but don't break. He doesn't mind as much if he teams give up a lot of yards, as long as they're able to force turnovers. Thus far this season, the Redskins have fulfilled Haslett's philosophy to a T.
And they're fulfilling Haslett's philosophy tonight as well. The Colts have 294 total yards at halftime, which is a lot. The only problem is that the Redskins haven't actually gotten the turnovers. They've had their chances -- three, in fact -- but they haven't converted. (Well, until this).
