Albert Haynesworth Still Thinks Albert Haynesworth Is A Dominant Player

Before today, Albert Haynesworth only made himself available to the media after games. But after his first really productive game of the season, Haynesworth decided to take some questions before practice. Haynesworth addressed his role within the defense and his relationship with the coaching staff. According to Ryan O'Halloran of CSN Washington, Haynesworth seems to be settling into a nice little niche.

"Now that we’ve changed some of the things I do, it’s helped a lot," Haynesworth said. "I don’t have to think as much on the field. I can just go out and make plays."

Haynesworth believes he started playing better after he and Jim Haslett removed a large portion of his nose tackle responsibilities. Even with all of his problems this year, Haynesworth never lost faith in himself.

"I feel the same way I’ve always felt; I know I can play the game so there’s no difference in my confidence or anything else," he said.

He also made some comments about his position on the depth chart that made him sound like and honest to goodness good teammate. Is it possible that Albert Haynesworth has actually come around and is a positive influence on this ball club? Looks like the Hogettes should add some wings to their costumes.
