Redskins Vs. Eagles: Brandon Banks Punt Return And Ryan Torain Run Give Redskins Early Lead

Last week, the Redskins signed running back Ryan Torain from the practice squad. This week, they did the same with Brandon Banks.

Those decisions are paying off quickly for the Redskins. After their defense started the game by forcing the Eagles to punt after just three plays, recently signed Banks returned the punt 53-yards, giving the Redskins excellent field position to start.

After a 15-yard horse collar penalty on a Santana Moss end-around, the Redskins turned to Ryan Torain in the red zone. With his first touch of the ball, Torain ran through Quintin Mikell and into the endzone for his first touchdown.
