When Coach Mike Shanahan presented No. 5 with a game ball following the Redskins' win over the Eagles, Donovan McNabb was quick to point out that it was a team victory.
↵Sure, it was a team victory, but it probably meant more to him than any other member of the team.
↵All week, McNabb had done his best to avoid talk about revenge. But in his locker room speech after receipt of the game ball, he added a little dig at the end, saying that the Eagles made a mistake last year.

After that game, I think many Eagles fans probably would say that the mistake was keeping Jason Avant around.
