Lots Of People Watched The Redskins-Eagles Game

So I just received a Redskins press release with the title "REDSKINS CONTINUE TO DOMINATE TELEVISION PROGRAMMING IN D.C. DMA. Because it includes the word "dominate", it is my duty to pass along the contents of the email.

↵↵The National Football League announced today that last Sunday's broadcast of the Washington Redskins-Philadelphia Eagles game was the highest-rated and most-watched TV program in the Washington, D.C., DMA for the week of Sept. 27-Oct. 3. Nationally, the Redskins-Eagles matchup was the most-watched Week 4 Sunday NFL game in history, and the highest-rated Week 4 Sunday game in 14 years.

This is what happens when you combine the rabid Redskins fanbase with a matchup pitting a polarizing figure in Philadelphia against a polarizing figure everywhere, so it's not a huge surprise, but still, DOMINATION!

Ironically, this wasn't even the most-watched game in the D.C. area this season -- the Week 1 game against the Cowboys beat it out.
