He's Baaaack: Former Redskin Todd Collins To Start For Bears

As crazy as it sounds, it was only three years ago that Todd Collins rescued the 2007 Redskins from mediocrity and led them to the second round of the playoffs. Sure, that was a different team then -- no Jim Zorn, no Mike Shanahan and a mix still reeling from the death of Sean Taylor -- but it was less than half a decade ago. Alas, in Redskins years, it feels like an eternity.

In that spirit, it's time to enter the Redskins Wayback Machine. Why? Because Collins, now a member of the Chicago Bears, is actually starting at quarterback this weekend with Jay Cutler sidelined, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune

Does this mean that Collins will be a revelation and lead his team to new heights instead of the highly-touted QB he's replacing? One can only hope.
