The first quarter of tonight's game has been historic. In a good way for the Eagles, but a bad way for the Redskins.
Jerome Harrison broke several tackles on his way to a 50-yard run to give the Eagles a 28-0 lead over the Redskins near the end of the first quarter. It is the most points that the Eagles have ever scored in a first quarter and Philadelphia's 270 yards are the most that the Redskins have ever allowed in one quarter. The Eagles' 28-0 first quarter lead also happens to be the biggest lead at the end of the first quarter for a road team in NFL history.
Michael Vick continues to roll with a perfect 8-for-8 night so far with 181 yards and two touchdowns. He is also six yards away from claiming second place on the list of most rushing yards for a quarterback in NFL history.
Donovan McNabb, on the other hand, is 2-for-6 for six yards and one interception.
