Eagles Vs. Redskins: Darrel Young Gives Redskins Something To Cheer About, But Still Trail 35-7

The first time that Darrel Green ever touched the ball in his NFL career will be remembered as a touchdown that put the Redskins within four touchdowns in the second quarter. The Eagles lead the Redskins 35-7 after the two-play, 74-yard drive.

McNabb finally showed what he is capable of, finding Fred Davis for a 71-yard catch, the longest pass play for Washington this season. McNabb then found Green rolling towards the end zone for the Redskins' first score of the night.

If there is any good news for the Redskins, it is Eagles coach Andy Reid's misfortune with such a big lead. This is the second time that Reid has ever had a 21-point lead or higher after the first quarter. In his first game as Eagles head coach, Reid's Eagles had a 21-0 lead after the first quarter, but the Eagles would lose 25-24.
