It could be worse, fellow Redskins fans. The Redskins could be employing Shaun Suisham as their kicker. (Alright, fine, it's still worse).
↵You might remember Suisham as the guy that missed a 23-yard field goal that would have sealed a monumental upset of the then-undefeated New Orleans Saints last year. Suisham was cut then and picked up by the Cowboys, where he proceeded to miss two field goals in their playoff loss to Minnesota.
↵Now, Suisham is back. After Jeff Reed's pitiful performance in a loss to the New England Patriots, the Steelers have signed Suisham to be their kicker. Apparently, the Steelers are hoping that the comfortable setting of Heinz Field will cause Suisham's kicking superstardom to emerge. Yeah ... I'm going to say that's not going to happen.
↵If you're a Steelers fan, your only hope is that you won't need a key field goal in a playoff game. The only problem is they probably will.
