Albert Haynesworth Will Always Be A 'Titan At Heart.' Ugh ...

Remember last week when Clinton Portis wore a Phillies hat just days before the Skins game against the Eagles and the collective sports media in the District nearly exploded? That was pretty bad, and he didn't even say anything about actually liking a team from Philly, let alone the Eagles specifically. So I guess that makes this about a billion times worse.

According to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, Albert Haynesworth had this to say about his relationship with the Redskins upcoming opponent.

"I will always be a Titan at heart,'' Haynesworth said by phone Wednesday night. "I can't deny that."

I know that doesn't mean that he will be giving plays away to the Titans, and I really do think he'll play hard for the Skins this week, but why even say that? There's absolutely no reason for it. At least wait until after the game.

You saw how the City reacted to Portis wearing that hat (and I know the Titans aren't hated like the Eagles) but nobody wants to hear that you like, or even respect, your upcoming opponent. It would just make us feel better if you said that you hate them. Would that really be so hard?
