The Redskins offense have started off this game hot. The Redskins took a 7-0 first quarter lead on their opening drive with a 10 yard touchdown grab by Fred Davis.
The Redskins offense showed a little razzle dazzle on their first drive, as they ran the 'Wildcat' look, with brandon Banks being the primary runner on both snaps. However, the drive featured what Donovan McNabb can do when he gets consistent protection in the pocket. With the offensive line protecting him, McNabb was 8 for 8 on the drive for 84 yards, with catches by 5 different receivers, which ended with the 10 yard score to Davis. Number 86 caught the touchdown in the back corner of the endzone for his first touchdown catch of the season.
The Redskins look to go to 6-5 and they have gotten off to a good start, continuing the momentum from the Titans game last week. Now it's time to see if the defense can contain Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson and the very talented Minnesota offense.
