Connor Barth is now three-for-three on field goal attempts. If Graham Gano was the same, the Redskins would still have a one touchdown lead.
Following a Washington three-and-out and a Hunter Smith punt, Josh Freeman led a 10-play drive and used over five minutes of clock time to get the Buccaneers into field goal range. The drive started with an end-around to Arrelious Benn, who is having a big day for Tampa Bay. Freeman also passed for two first downs on the long drive.
Barth kicked a 35-yard field goal to cap off the drive, his third of what has been a perfect game for the young kicker. Gano has missed two field goals today, making only one. Despite their special teams dominance though, the Buccaneers still trail by one point. Ryan Torain has to get back to work.
