And right when it looks like the Redskins are buried, they have a quick scoring drive that ended with a Santana Moss 10 yard touchdown reception to cut the Dallas lead to 27-14.The drive lasted only 4 plays, but went for 71 yards in just over two minutes.
The drive's biggest play was a huge 47 yard pass from Rex Grossman to Anthony Armstrong that put the Redskins well within scoring range. 3 plays later, Grossman found a wide open Moss for the 10 yard score. Both Redskins scores on this afternoon have come on short passes where the ball carrier was untouched into the endzone.
The way this game is going, the defense will need to hold down the explosive Dallas offense if they want to give the offense a chance to do more of what they just did.
After leading an impressive drive, it looks like Shanahan won't go to John Beck just yet.
