Are there too many question marks in that headline? You bet. But when it comes to Donovan McNabb's future, it really is that up in the air. After being benched prior to last Sunday's game against the Cowboys, the assumption is that McNabb's career in Washington D.C. is probably over. The team can cut him and only pay him $3.5 million because of the nature of his contract.
↵But what do the odds say? Bodog.com just came out with some regarding McNabb's future, via a press release, and they are as follows:
↵↵↵
↵↵↵Starting QB for the Redskins 7/1
↵Starting QB for the Vikings 5/2
↵Starting QB for the Cardinals 4/1
↵Starting QB for the 49ers 15/2
↵Starting QB for any Other NFL Team 3/2
↵Backup QB for Any NFL Team 7/2
↵Not on an NFL Roster
↵15/1
So there are plenty of options on this list. The only thing that's missing is "Backup QB for the Redskins," but you figure that's impossible because the Redskins would never do that to ... oh, wait.
↵↵↵↵↵Mike Shanahan said he definitely would welcome back McNabb if McNabb were willing to return to the Redskins as a backup "but I'm not sure he would, which I would understand. But I think that's why we're talking about hypothetical situations. I don't think that would happen. But if he was interested in that, obviously, that'd be a possibility."

You lie, Bodog. Signed, Mike Shanahan.
