Redskins Vs. Jaguars: David Gerrard Hits Mike Thomas To Cut Redskins Lead 10-7

The Jaguars have responded with a score of their own, thanks to a David Gerrard pass to Mike Thomas to cut the Redskins lead to 10-7.

The Jags offense methodically moved the chains on a 10 play, 79 yard drive that lasted nearly six minutes. The key receiver on the drive was Mike Thomas, who caught 3 passes for 39 yards, including the score. The Redskins defense began to show their vulnerability due to their injured starters. Many on the defense were guilty of missed tackles, poor coverage and bad angles that led to the Jags sustaining the drive and ball carriers extending runs longer than they should have.

The momentum has quickly swung back to the home team, and if the Redskins offense doesn't keep up, the Redskins could be in for a long afternoon. Their defense (or lack there of), is really rearing it's ugly head, so this game looks to be on the offense. Let's see what Rex Grossman and company can do to respond.
