Redskins Vs. Jaguars: Carlos Rogers Out With Calf Injury

Carlos Rogers has been having one of his best games of the season. Unfortunately for the cornerback and his teams, Rogers' day will be ending a bit early.

Rogers suffered a calf injury early in the third quarter of today's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Its unclear as to what play caused the injury because Rogers never stayed on the ground after a play, and did not have to removed from the field.

Rodgers was initially listed as questionable to return, but he has now been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

The cornerback had an interception and three tackles today. He intercepted David Garrard in the first half on an overthrown ball, returning it 32-yards to set up the Redskins' first touchdown. Rogers also had one pass defended, impressively breaking up a play that wide receiver Mike Thomas caught over his head.
