Redskins Vs. Jaguars: Ryan Torain Gives The Skins The Lead 17-10

The Redskins have responded with a very effective drive that ended with a one yard Ryan Torain touchdown run to give the Skins a 17-10 lead in the 4th quarter.

The drive went for 68 yards on 14 plays and lasted nearly 8 minutes. The drive featured a lot of Torain, who had several effective runs to keep the drive going. The Redskins offense finally snapped a 0/7 streak on third down by converting three 3rd down conversions on the drive, two of which were on passes to Santana Moss. From there, the Redskins got inside the ten yard line,  they seemed determined to score. Despite not converting on a third and goal, Mike Shanahan decided to go for it on 4th and goal. Torain then rewarded his coach's faith in him by making the plunge into the endzone, giving his team the lead.

With the Redskins finally sustaining a good drive, they were able to take the lead and give their defense some time to rest. If the defense continues it's inspired play, and Rex Grossman doesn't turn the ball over the rest of the way, the Skins could be looking at their sixth win of the year.
