This is turning into an old fashioned blowout for the Redskins. Brandon Jacobs rushed for his second rushing TD, this time a 28 yarder, to give the Giants a 28-0 third quarter lead.
The scoring drive started because Donovan McNabb had a key fumble on a 2 yard scramble that appeared to give the Redskins a first down. Instead, McNabb the fumble gave the Giants the ball inside Redskins territory. The Giants once again capitalized on the Redskins mistake, scoring 3 plays later. On the Jacobs run, several defenders were unable to make tackles and allowed Jacobs to get into the open field. From there, it was off to the races for Jacobs, ending with 28-0 Giants lead.
Unfortunately for the Redskins, this is another game where their lack of depth and talent is really coming back to haunt them. Their defense is unable to get stops, the offensive is unable to make plays, and as a result, the Redskins are getting blown out right now.
