Redskins Vs. Giants: Lawrence Tynes Tacks On A Field Goal To Give Giants 31-7 Lead

Well, that should be the dagger.

The Giants tacked on a Laurence Tynes field goal to give the Giants a 31-7 lead in the fourth quarter.

The G-Men were able to get  a short field thanks to a familiar face. After Donovan McNabb was sacked by Justin Tuck (who beat Jamaal brown rather easily), the Redskins were forced to punt. The Hunter Smith punt was blocked by none other than Devin Thomas, the Redskins former 2nd round pick from 2008. Thomas made the play, giving the Giants the ball inside the red zone. Three plays later, Tynes added the 28 yard field goal, pouring salt on the wound for the Redskins.

This is another game where the talent gap between the Redskins and a division rival reared its ugly head in the worst way. The offensive line hasn't played well, the defensive line hasn't played well, and the Redskins have committed several key turnovers to only add to the frustration.

The Redskins, at this point, just want this game to be over.
