In a rare radio apperance earlier today, Albert Haynesworth told the Kevin And Rock Show on 106.7 The Fan that he's "never seen anything like" the media coverage of his status.
↵Neither have we, Al.
↵But Haynesworth was very team-oriented in his interview, continuing to insist that his relationship with Mike Shanahan is not a problem. Haynesworth did say though that he doesn't plan to come to OTA's in 2011 (if he's here), because he's in much better shape this season after working with his own trainer than he was last season under the Jim Zorn regime.
↵Haynesworth said that the Redskins defense will play some 4-3 tomorrow, but as transcribed by the Redskins Insider, Haynesworth stood by his offseason actions.
↵"I guess, in this world, we don't have a lot of people with backbones. Just because somebody pays you money don't mean they'll make you do whatever they want. I mean, that means everything is for sale. I mean, I'm not for sale," Haynesworth said. "Yeah, I signed the contract and got paid a lot of money, but just because, that don't mean I'm for sale or a slave or whatever.↵
In bigger news, Haynesworth also said within the interview that he likes hanging out at WalMart.
