Fantasy Football Picks: Redskins At Rams

Not sure what players to start on your fantasy football team? Need some last minute advice? We'll give you a player to watch from the Redskins and from their opponents every Sunday morning.

Washington Redskins: Lost in the discussions about how terrible the Redskins' running game has been the first two weeks of the season is the fact that Clinton Portis rushed for two touchdowns last week. Sure, they were both from the 1-yard line. But fantasy owners will take those 12 points without reservation. The Redskins are expected to emphasize the run today, so trust Portis with a start.

St. Louis Rams: The Redskins have a history of playing down to weak opponents. They defeated the Rams by just two points in each of the past two seasons. I wouldn't be surprised to see another close game between these two franchises today, which could mean a lot of Steven Jackson. The Rams' undisputed top running back rushed for 104 yards against Washington in 2009, and he could do it again today.
