Redskins Vs. Rams: Game Remains 14-13 At Halftime After Blocked Field Goal Try

After the Rams slowly and methodically moved the ball down the field to leave the Redskins with just 23 seconds remaining in the first half, their field goal try was blocked. The Rams used over seven minutes of clock time on the drive that included six first downs.

The Redskins thought they had forced a turnover earlier in the drive, but an apparent fumble by Steven Jackson was overturned after review. Jackson was injured on the play.

The Rams had six plays inside the 10-yard to punch the ball in, but could not convert for a touchdown. On the ensuing field goal attempt, Josh Brown's kick was blocked by Phillip Daniels.
