We've been seeing more and more of Ryan Torain and less and less of Clinton Portis in the Redskins' backfield today.
Torain has only been on Washington's roster for two days. The team signed him from the practice squad earlier this week, and he has quite possibly now been elevated to the top of the Redskins' depth chart. This would mean that he passed Clinton Portis, Larry Johnson, and Keiland Williams all in the same week.
Portis, who appeared to give less than his full effort on a run earlier in the game, does not seem to be taking the move quite well, according to Chris Russell of ESPN 980.↵
Clinton looks like he is steaming on the bench, sitlting alone - nobody within five feet on either side of him.
