Even though Donovan McNabb spent 11 years in Philadelphia with the Eagles, his comments this afternoon on ESPN 980 lead me to believe that he doesn't really understand the sports scene there.
↵When asked about what he is expecting the reaction to be at Lincoln Financial Field when he walks in wearing a Redskins jersey, McNabb said he was expecting to receive more cheers than boos from the famously harsh Philadelphia faithful. I disagree.
↵His history with the city aside, I think he would get booed just for being the Redskins quarterback. Throw in the facts that he was never truly accepted by the city and they never won a title, and I think Donovan McNabb is going to be in for a rude awakening. What do you think?
